Maintenance to Web of Science this Sunday

Thomson Reuters tells us that they will be performing maintenance to Web of Science, this coming Sunday, September 27 2009 from 6:00am. During this time, there will be disruption if you are saving searches, for example.
DIGIMAP soon with ’slippy’ maps
September 22, 2009DIGIMAP will soon have a great new feature called Roam that will allow you to click-and-drag with your mouse to position a map, as well as create a map from one of 12 different scales.
Your map can be viewed on screen, or a PDF file at A4 or A3 paper size can be generated for printing locally.
IHS Indexes working through Athens again

One of our full-text journals services, Infotrac Custom Journals (which gives you access to over 400 full-text titles) has had a redesign, but don’t worry, it’s just a different skin - all of the search features and links are still there. You can also now set up your own account to save searches, and get alerts.

One of our main full-text business databases ABI Inform is down on Sunday September 27 for maintenance – Proquest tell us it will last from about 03:00 in the morning for about twelve (12) hours.
CINAHL Full Text giving odd results

CINAHL Full Text is behaving oddly when displaying search results – we have reported it to EBSCO, they have told us this is a known problem which they say will ‘be fixed very shortly.’
The error gives inconsistent results when the search results are listed, and only affects CINAHL Full Text , not our other EBSCO databases. For more information contact Mary Seacole Library 0121 331 6012
