There is currently an error logging onto IEEE Explore via Athens – we have reported this to the publisher and they are currently looking into it for us.

In the meantime, if you are on-campus you can logon to IEEE Explore here , and you can also find their journals in our AtoZ of Full Text Journals.

If that is the case, when you come to login to Athens-protected resources this would generate an error message that says “There is a problem, please contact Library and Learning Resources or email athens@bcu.ac.uk”.

We would recommend that you use your student id wherever possible. Please get in touch if you still have problems logging into Athens resources.

This is available from the front page and provides definitions from: Jowitt’s Dictionary of English Law 3rd Ed, Stroud’s Judicial Dictionary 7th Ed., Osborn’s Concise Law Dictionary 11th Ed. As well as cases.

To support students and staff, they have produced a special video (in order to view this you may need to have permissions to install the player on the PC you are using)  and a factsheet which explains how to use the feature.
